The date listed for each is the date the school was informed. This list is a running total of all cases reported to the school as of 1/4/21. Student COVID-19 Cases:
  • January 5 – One (1) Central Elementary student was sent home today with COVID-19 like symptoms. The student will need to get a COVID-19 test prior to returning to school. Close contacts were identified and informed to quarantine. Contact tracing complete. No change to Central AM/PM schedule.
  • January 7 – Updated – The One (1) Central Elementary student that was sent home with COVID-19 like symptoms on January 5 tested negative. Close contacts were informed to end their quarantine and can return to school.
  • January 7 – One (1) Central Elementary student was sent home today with COVID-19 like symptoms. The student will need to get a COVID-19 test prior to returning to school. Close contacts were informed to quarantine. Contact tracing complete. No change to the Central AM/PM schedule.
  • January 11 - Two (2) Central Elementary students that exhibited COVID-19 symptoms were sent home today. The students will need to get a COVID-19 test prior to returning to school. Close contacts were identified and informed to quarantine. Contact tracing complete.
  • January 15 – A Central Elementary student tested positive for COVID-19 on January 15. Student was last in the building on January 8. There is no need for contact tracing as the student was last in the building on January 8. No change to the Central AM/PM schedule.
  • January 20 - One (1) Central student that exhibited COVID-19 symptoms was sent home today. Close contacts were identified and contacted.  By the end of the day, the student completed a COVID-19 test with a negative result.  The student and close contacts can return to school tomorrow.  No change to the Central AM/PM schedule.
  • January 21 – One Central Elementary student that exhibited COVID-19 symptoms was reported on January 19. The student was last in school in January 19. Close contacts were identified and informed to quarantine. Contact Tracing complete. No change to the Central AM/PM schedule.
  • January 21 – UPDATED - One Central Elementary student that exhibited COVID-19 symptoms on January 19 tested positive January 21. The student was last in school in January 19. Close contacts were identified and informed to quarantine. Contact tracing complete. No change to the Central AM/PM schedule.
  • February 17 – One (1) Central Elementary student that exhibited COVID-19 symptoms
    was sent home today. The student will need to get a COVID-19 test prior to returning to school.
  • February 26 – One (1) Central Elementary student was sent home with COVID-19 symptoms. The student will need to get a COVID-19 test prior to returning to school.
Staff Member COVID-19 Cases
  • January 11 – A Central Staff member tested for COVID-19 on January 9. The staff member was last in the building on January 7. Close contacts were informed to quarantine. Contact tracing complete.
  • February 8 – One (1) Central Elementary staff member tested positive for COVID-19 on February 6. The staff member was last in the building on February 5. Close contacts were identified and informed to quarantine. Contact tracing complete. No change to the Central AM/PM schedule.
  • February 11 - One (1) Central School staff member exhibited symptoms. The staff member was last in the building February 10.  Close contacts were contacted and required to quarantine.
  • February 12 – UPDATED – The one (1) Central staff member who exhibited COVID-19 symptoms and was sent home on February 11 tested negative. Close contacts were informed to end their quarantine and return to school.
  • February 22 – One (1) Central Elementary staff member tested positive for COVID-19 on February 21. The staff member was last in the building on February 17. There is no need for contact tracing. No change to the Central AM/PM schedule.
