Glen Rock Public Schools earned recognition as a Gold Star 2019-2020 No Place for Hate® School!

Congratulations to Glen Rock Public Schools for earning recognition as a Gold Star 2019-2020 No Place For Hate® School! “This is certainly the result of the collaboration and effort put forth by our students, staff, administrators, parents, and community leaders,” said Dr. Brett Charleston, Superintendent of Glen Rock Public Schools.  This year, Glen Rock Public Schools is one of over 1,800 schools across the country that successfully completed this program. Glen Rock Public Schools was recognized for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.  The district committee brought many initiatives forth which should continue for many years to come. An exhibit was hosted at GRHS which included a presentation from a Holocaust survivor. Glen Rock elementary schools worked collaboratively on common readings and activities. Glen Rock High School students were able to expand their understanding with related trips and in-school programs. This year’s Martin Luther King activities really solidified the school’s vision and beliefs. No Place for Hate®  is a self-directed program created by the Anti-Defamation League. See the school list
