The final days for the GRHS students in China included visits to the Dragon Boat Festival, Beijing Academy, the Great Wall of China, and more!
At the Dragon Boat Festival, students participated in holiday activities including making zongzi (traditional rice dumplings) and xiangbao (perfume sachets). They learned chinese calligraphy, went to Tiananmen Square, and visited Beijing Science Center.
At Beijing Academy, GRHS students shadowed their new friends and participated in traditional Chinese art, drama, PE, and pottery classes. Glen Rock students then visited the Great Wall and nearby village, Beigou Village.
The trip wrapped up with visits to multiple museums, a tech company, a traditional tea house, and a performing arts center!
